Hello again! It is now midday and a beautiful summer day is ahead of us. last night our flat mate discovered that his bed is a little bit alive! he has got bitten all over, looks like a mosquito bite but itches much more ;-) when he turned his bed sheets there were some little nice black bugs moving around carrying his blood. yeeeha... 

we googled those nice little fellows and it turned out that he has so called bed bugs in his room. they are coming from the outside or are carried around with luggage, clothes etc. AND its very hard to get rid of them since it doesnt matter to them if its clean as hell or dirty, as long as there is someone to bite, they feel home. sooo we threw out his mattress, carpet etc. now he's cleaning and scrubbing his room as if there is no tomorrow :-) welcome to australia :-)

luckily our room is still clean and no further pest-control needed!! yes.

Cimicidae Genus Cimex sp.

So guten morgen, bei euch ist es jetzt so halb 5 in der frueh, bei uns knallt die sonne und es ist halb eins am mittag. gestern nacht hat unsere mitbewohner in seinem schlafzimmer eine unangenehme entdeckung gemacht. er war ueberall von irgendwas gebissen worden und juckte saumaessig.

nachdem er seine bettdecke und bezug umgedreht hat kamen lauter kleine nette schwarze viecher zum vorschein!! pfui deifel.. hat sich herausgestellt das er sogenannte bettwanzen hat. wusste gar nicht das es sowas gibt. wir haben also angefangen seine matratze, teppich etc raus zu schmeissen. heute reinigt er schon seit stunden wie verrueckt sein zimmer. leider ist es sehr schwierig sie los zu werden weil sie sich tagsueber in loechern und ritzen  verstecken und nur nachts aktiv sind! na mahlzeit! wilkommen in australien :-)

gottseidank, unser zimmer ist verschont geblieben :-)
